Princesa de la Luna Eco Lodge La Fortuna Review

When it comes to luxury hotels in Costa Rica, Arenal and La Fortuna are two places with plenty of them. However, for visitors who are looking for a no frills place surrounded by nature, there are just a few options. We recently stayed at one of these places that was deep in the rain forest, yet only a 15 minute drive to town.

The large property, called Princesa de la Luna Eco Lodge in La Fortuna also has its own hiking trails, waterfalls and mud baths. With just a few rooms, visitors can take advantage of the lodge’s activities all to themselves.

Location

The lodge is in La Tigra, just 5 minutes outside of La Fortuna. You have to drive down a steep unpaved road so it is recommended to have a 4×4 or high car, especially in rainy season.
