Marriott is probably the airline / hotel chain that I most think of in terms of incentivizing its users (i.e. you and me) to engage with the brand socially. They have long had the #MRPoints program, which would give you a small number (~10) points for interacting on social with the brand.
Recently announced is the fact that they are rebranding the program to #RewardsPoints, and making a few changes

As part of this change, Marriott is offering users the ability to get up to 1250 Marriott points for linking your accounts and following Marriott on various social networks
- 250 points for connecting their Twitter account to their Marriott Rewards account
- 250 points for connecting their Facebook…
