An Excellent Airbnb in Arenal for Families and Large Groups

We love Airbnb. The first time we used it was in South Korea and ever since then, we have used Airbnb in nearly every country we have visited including our home base, Costa Rica. Whenever we travel around Costa Rica, we first look for Airbnb’s and then hotels and luckily, we’ve had some incredible experiences with Airbnb in Costa Rica!

For our trip to Arenal back in October, we decided to use Airbnb instead of a hotel. There are some beautiful hotels in Arenal but it is very expensive. The hotels in La Fortuna town are cheaper but in town. We didn’t want to stay in town because it’s louder and busier, we prefer to stay somewhere quieter in nature. We wanted to experience the neighborhoods where the Fortuenos live and I found a house that looked amazing. Although this particular Airbnb is meant for families and big groups, I couldn’t help but splurge a little!
