I got an email the other day about 3000 bonus IHG points. It is probably targeted, but several people I know got it, so it may very well be targeted to people with the IHG card

Fine print:
From April 1 through August 31, 2017, you can earn 600 bonus points each month when you spend at least $750 per month with your IHG® Rewards Club Credit Card
All purchases qualify and the offer is automatic, so there’s no need to activate or enroll – just use your card and roll up the points.
But is it worth it?
I would say that this offer would not be worth it in most cases. $750 of regular spend on a 2% cashback card would be $15, and even with this offer and using your card at a grocery store or gas…
