One nice side perk of miles, points and credit cards is access to airline lounges. Many different credit cards offer lounge access, either through one-time passes, visits or actual club membership. While most airline lounges (especially in the US) aren’t mindblowingly awesome (as compared to, say, the Emirates First Class Lounge in Dubai), most will offer a quiet(er) place to work / relax, some basic food / drink options, wifi and other amenities. While in Chicago for the Chicago Seminars 2017, I had a few hours to kill from an early morning flight so spent my time at the Delta Sky Club ORD.
