How to Spend 24-Hours at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno

Who doesn’t love a good road trip? For me there’s something calming about jumping into my Jeep Wrangler, turning up the tunes way too loud and singing at the tops of my lungs while picturesque landscape passes by.

It was no different when I hit the road headed from my hometown in Northern California to just over the Nevada border, to spend 24-hours at the luxury Atlantis Casino Resort Spa (don’t forget the spa part!). I apologize to all the talented artists whose songs I totally butchered on the way.

Fast forward 3 hours 49 minutes later.

You can’t go to this city without stopping to take the most quintessential photo at the Reno Arch. The sign sums up the town perfectly — the biggest little city in the world. Reno is not nearly as grand as Las Vegas, but it has all the essentials — fancy casinos, entertaining shows, delicious restaurants and lively bars.
