Alaska Airlines announced today that it is launching three new nonstop transcontinental services from its west coast hubs. The new routes include:
- Portland and Detroit
- Portland and New York-JFK
- Los Angeles and Philadelphia
The table below shows the starting dates and schedules of the new services. Notice that all three east-bound flights depart late in the evening, arriving their destinations in the early morning hours. Tickets for the new routes are already on sale on Alaska and Virgin America website.
With the new services to Detroit and New York JFK, Alaska Airlines will provide Portland residents access to 130 daily nonstop flights to 58 destinations. Rose City flyers will now have greater access to two New York metropolitan area airports…
