3 Days in Cape Town, South Africa
Having heard so much about South Africa over the years — and having still traveled terribly little on the African continent! — I decided it was finally time for me to go. I booked my ticket (it was, to my surprise, easy to find tickets under 500 EUR from various points in Europe) and plotted a simple route from Cape Town to Johannesburg.

Arriving in Cape Town
Winters reduce me to a sloth-like existence, so when I stepped into the sun in Cape Town (it has, after all, opposite seasons), I felt like Wall-E opening his little solar wings for a much-needed recharge. It’s amazing how just a bit of sunlight changes your mood in an instant.
