Weird Flex or the Next Step in Lounge Domination? AmEx Buys LoungeBuddy

There’s been a ton of AmEx lounge coverage lately.  The financial conglomerate has been expanding their existing lounges, opening new ones, and making a bit harder to get to them…  Now, they’ve gone public with their purchase of the LoungeBuddy platform.

Check out the announcement from American Express here.  American Express seems to view this is a strategic advancement of their card portfolio’s travel benefits.
