BRB – I’m Traveling in Southeast Asia

Soon I’ll be hopping on a plane to Singapore for a third trip to my favorite travel region: Southeast Asia!

I’ll be traveling through Laos, Cambodia, and probably a bit of Vietnam. Then, if all goes according to plan (ha…) I’ll be revisiting the Philippines, one of my all-time favorite destinations.

In some sense, it feels like going back to the well, as I’ve already visited these countries before. On the other hand, I’m so excited for the chance to check out interesting places that I overlooked on earlier journeys. One thing I’ve learned is that even if you think you already know a country, you never truly do—and there’s always a different side to discover.

I’ve also been itching to update some of my Southeast Asia destination pages, some of which were among the first I ever wrote.

This time, I can’t wait to head into Laos’ Nam Kan National Park, explore the Bolaven Plateau, venture into Cambodia’s little-known Cardamom Mountains, and lots more.
