How to Apply for a South Korea Tourist Visa for Filipinos

When I first wrote this post over two years ago, I was excited about all the traffic it would get because I knew South Korea was a hot destination. Fast forward to 2017, and Korea is just as hot as ever, if not more!

So what makes Korea so popular among Filipinos? Well for one, there’s the food. Filipinos are partial to savory-sweet flavors so we can’t get enough of Korean barbecue staples like bulgogi and galbi. Two, there’s the entertainment. K-pop and K-dramas are huge in the Philippines. When we first went to Korea, I wasn’t a fan of either so I didn’t understand the obsession.
