Get Outdoors & Head To Cape Kamenjak Nature Park

The other thing you can find in Istria – is space – oh-so-much-space, perfect for getting out on the great outdoors away from the crowds. One such place is Cape Kamenjak.

Cape Kamenjak is a nature park located at the very southern tip of the Istrian peninsula. Due to its extraordinary natural values, the peninsula has since 1996 been a protected area

It’s not that far from Pula – which is home to the Arena. The Pula Arena is a Roman amphitheater, which one of the world’s six largest surviving Roman arenas (and the best-preserved!).

Cape Kamenjak in just 10 km from Pula, and is a part of a little picturesque village called Premantura. You’ve no doubt seen photos of Cape Kamenjak – it has beaches, sea caves, and jaw-dropping cliffs.

One very popular activity in Istria is to go biking – and in Cape Kamenjak, you can enjoy the rugged coastline on two wheels. You can also kayak along those cliffs, or make a day an combine the two.

One highly recommended (and local)…
