9 Podcasts I Love To Listen To On The Road (Or At Home) • Indie Traveller

There’s something we don’t often talk about on travel blogs. It’s how travel can, well… be mind-numbingly boring sometimes.

We write about, say, the jaw-droppingly beautiful waterfalls of Iguazu, not how the soul-destroying 12-hour bus ride it took us to get there. We speak of Angkor Wat in hushed tones, but definitely not of that long flight to Cambodia with eight crying babies on board.

Honestly, much of my travels have been little more than staring out a window with a wearied look on my face. Luckily, podcasts have gotten me through many long journeys. 

It is through travel that I became a podcast addict.

Below are some of my personal favorite podcasts to listen to while traveling — or, as is the case for most of us right now, to listen to while quarantined at home. 

By the way, true crime like Serial doesn’t do much for me, but I do love many geeky shows that make me laugh or teach me something new about the world.
