Southwest has launched a birthday sale, with fares as low as $49 one-way direct. Check your email for the subject “Celebrate our birthday with a fare sale”; the sale is also available from Southwest’s website. Sale prices are good for select days between September 3 and December 18; see “Travel Dates” below for more specifics.
While not every route is available, most mainland cities that Southwest serves has at least one deal. I saw mainland because only inter-island flights Hawaiian flights are included, not flights to/from the mainland. Past sales have those flights as low as $29, though this time they are $49.
