Low prices to China this year are pretty much standard these days, but sometimes we get even better deals. Several airports on the west coast have solid pricing throughout the fall on flights to the “Pearl of the Orient”, including Thanksgiving travel. These prices are from United and her Star Alliance partners like Air Canada , ANA, and Asiana. Probably the best “deal” are the L.A. flights, which are about $100 – $300 cheaper than normal. Some slightly better prices are available, but they generally include long layovers while only saving a few dollars. Conversely, on some routes, for just a few dollars more you can often cut layovers down by 2 or more hours.
