Chase 5/24 history and explanation
The first inklings we had about a “new” rule for Chase cards were back in September of 2016 – SEE: Chase 5/24 is real and here’s the proof. Originally it was limited to some of the Chase-branded cards, meaning that most co-branded Chase cards (IHG, Hyatt, Marriott, etc) were still open for people over 5/24. Then, over time, the Chase Ink came under 5/24, then more and more of Chase’s cards
