Southwest Airlines has launched an international fare sale; check your email for one titled “Your post-worthy paradise is on sale.” It’s a pretty widespread sale, with destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America seeing discounts. This sale is for late summer and early fall travel, and the prices are quite good in many cases, especially with Southwest’s free baggage policy. Unfortunately, since this is focused on international destinations, Hawaii is not included in this sale. That’s been the norm since SWA began Hawaiian flights, so while disappointing it’s not surprising. Also, fares are for Tuesday and Wednesday travel, meaning it works best if you’ve saved your vacation time….
