Southwest Airlines returns with another fare sale, and given the theme they thankfully waited until April second, or “International Children’s Book Day” to release it. The “Obscure Holiday Sale” officially lists one-way flights from as low as $59 though, as always, cheaper flights can be found with a little searching. Always check the fare calendar even if the rate seems higher than you want to pay; fares are sometimes discounted even from the sale page prices. SWA really shines for family travel, as their “bags fly free” policy lets parents carry enough clothes and goodies for all the kids when comparing prices to other airlines “basic economy” prices.
