President Trump is issuing an emergency order to ground all 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9 aircraft in the U.S., which was one of the final holdouts . The FAA and U.S. airlines previously were still content to fly the aircraft that was involved in the Ethiopian Airlines crash on Sunday which involved a 737 MAX 8 aircraft and killed all aboard (SEE: Two fatal crashes, too many questions. The president did note that the “FAA and Boeing are “in agreement”. This seems contrary to the previous statements released by the agency and company. The airlines also appear to be on board, according to the president, despite previous statement to the contrary.
