Some US residents will need passports in 2018

Due to the Real ID act which will go into effect at airports in 2018, residents in more than a dozen US states may not be able to use their driver’s licenses to fly after Jan. 22. Residents of states that don’t comply with the act may need to have a passport in order to get through TSA screenings starting next year. Some states are asking for additional extensions to comply, but if you’re from one that currently doesn’t meet license standards, now might be the time to apply…
