Let’s just get this obvious point out of the way first: for a place to be a fantastic budget backpacking destination, it needs to be easy to travel on a budget.

In Mexico, budget backpacking is not only incredibly exciting, but it’s also straightforward to do–and depending on how strict of a budget you are on, you may barely need to pinch your pennies at all.
