As a couple of the best destinations in Costa Rica, Arenal and Monteverde have to be on the itinerary for those looking for outdoor adventure and nature during their Costa Rica trip. Although many people assume they are similar, the differences are drastic as Arenal is the rain forest and volcano and Monteverde is the cloud forest.
