Get a free castle in Italy
In order to try to boost tourism and encourage people to fix up historic buildings, Italy’s State Property Agency is giving away 103 run-down properties, including villas, inns, and castles – for free! The only catch is that the new owners have to promise to restore the old buildings and open them up for visitors. Sounds like a win-win!
