Norwegian has continued to revolutionize the landscape of long haul economy flights. With continued expansion into the United States, the low cost airline is poised to become one of the primary transatlantic carriers for budget-conscious travelers. And now they have their sights set on other markets.

As reported by the Telegraph, Norwegian’s CEO now has his eye on expanding service to include Japan and Chinese cities. No concrete routes have been announced, but the airline is certainly considering expansion. This comes on the heels of new service to several cities in New England (SEE: Norwegian officially launches 3 US Bases).

Norwegian already flies to Thailand, its only destination in eastern Asia. Adding service to either Tokyo or Beijing would open up…
